Folio. Later (20th C.?) quarter pigskin, morocco label, marbled boards. Neat later binding, new end-papers. First page is title-page, the last being original blank. Very tight, clean. Old name in ink to title page. This edition of specific interest due to the addition of the Centuria Sexta (101pp) in the Liber Secundus. Otherwise the volume comprises: Indices, De Arbitrariis Iudicum Quaestionibus et Causis: Liber Primus, Liber Secundus Centuria Prima, Libri Secundi Centuria Secunda,... Centuria Tertia,... Centuria Quarta,... Centuria Quinta, and additionally: Libri Secundi Centuria Sexta. Menochio, author of many works on law, had a distinguished career; amongst other appointments he was professor of law at the University of Padua, and later personal advisor to Philip II. Jean Pillehotte was appointed ‘imprimeur ordinaire du roi’ and also sold to the Catholic League.
