Paper very crisp and clean although upper board detached with f.e.p. and title page, else in very good condition, no loss, clean and tight. Fourteen page (i-xiv) preface by the Author (D. Foe - ‘Daniel Defoe’) of The Review. “A Royal Witness to the Dissenters’ Cause” and “The Contents of the Principal Things contained in this Book” (pp15-19) De Laune’s Plea for Non-Conformists pp. 1 - 95: Eikoon tou therou or “The Image of the Beast” by T[homas] D[Laune]. This last part follows earlier pagination but dated 1816. Coy inscription to title page reads “From Mrs blank Loughborough, June 11 1829 to ..”
