Later fine binding, raised bands decorated in gilt to spine, blind stamped compartments, morocco label lettered gilt, boards ornately blind stamped, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers and fore-edges. viii+412pp., two engraved battle plans as called for, folding frontis.
Map not present (appears not to have been issued thus), silk marker. Small chip to spine head, edges a little rubbed, one map a little protruding. However very tight, clean, very minor damp spotting. A very nice copy.
