David Dodge (1910-1974)was an American author of thrillers (drawing on his own career) and of light travel writing. The travel accounts are based on adventures encountered by himself, his wife and daughter as they travelled the world and is often anecdotal and humorous including practical tips for the budget traveller. His thriller ‘To Catch a Thief’ was made into a Hitchcock film.
