Original paper-covers printed in brown and blue and uniform with others in the series 10x13.5cm. In excellent condition both internally and externally. Appears hardly opened. Small inoffensive mark to upper cover. Owner neat initials and date to f.e.p.. Used; Very Good First published in Russia in 1916. Gumilev, influential Russian poet was a co-founder of the Acmeist movement and Akhmatova's first husband. He was arrested and executed by the Cheka around 1921. His books were then banned.
