Large quarto, original printed wrappers, 10 full-page lithographic portraits. In excellent condition with just a little creasing to wrapper edges.

Georgiy Semenovich Vereisky (1886-1962), graphic artist inspired by Somov. He was a prolific lithographer. He participated in the First State Free Exhibition of Artworks in Petrograd in 1921-23 and taught at the Petrograd Vkhutemas. Best known for his lithography, he created a huge gallery of portraits of his contemporaries; mainly artists, writers and other cultural figures. This works contains full-page portraits of: Alexandre Benois, (Benua), O Braz, Mstislav Dobuzhinsky, Boris Kustodiev, D Mitrokhin, P Neradovsky, Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva, Zinaida Serebryakova, Konstantin Somov, Stepan Yaremich.
