Pocket-sized off-print in original printed card covers, pp131-190.
In very good condition. Appears unused. Commonly found contemporary bookseller’s small sticker to upper cover obscuring price.
The present work is an off-print taken from the author’s 1930s Guide to the Languages of Europe. Archibald Lyall was not only the author of a number of travel books (The Balkan Road etc...), but a member of SOE during WWII, and apparently also an actor appearing in a number of Italian and Spanish films.
