A very nice tight copy. Mild foxing to preliminaries and two past owner neat inscriptions.
Humorous drawings and quaint phraseology depict a studiously uncritical portrayal of “abroad” during the inter-war period. The Brush Up series, first published in Rothermere’s Daily Mail, is a fascinating reflection of certain British perspectives at the time.
