Very small tear to dust-wrapper head, neat highlighting to dust-wrapper blurb inside and back, mild foxing to upper fore-edge. However, otherwise a very good, tight and clean copy. Collectable; Very Good Selection of folk tales translated from Afansiev's famous collection and illustrated by Dick Hart. Natalie ‘Duddington’ was the daughter of the Russian novelist Alexander Ertel. She came to London in the early 1900s where she worked as a translator. She was befriended by Constance Garnett.
