Not dated, early translation, probably c. 1960. Landscape format, colour illustrated card covers, unpaginated, c. 40 pp., illustrated throughout by Radlov in colour. Upper cover chipped at spine and lower edge, internally clean and tight. No tears, no scribbles. Translated from the Russian ‘Rasskazi v kartinkakh’ by Dorian Rottenberg. Nikolai Radlov (1889 - 1942), prominent Russian artist and critic was particularly known for his satirical graphic art. These award-winning, much loved picture stories were co-written with Daniil Harms Kharms [Yuvachev or Yuvachyov], ‘avant-gardist’ and ‘Absurdist’ poet..
