Printed card covers in half tones. Decorative references to sickle and wheat.
In fair to good condition. A good complete, tight copy but covers rather age-soiled, book slightly cocked, inner joint cracked. Edges creased, usual yellowing of paper.
Cover design by B.T., Boris Titov, prominent book-cover illustrator. Novel by the 'peasant' writer Semen Podyachev (* 1866; † 1934) and published by Soviet publishing house Zemlya i Fabrika. ZiF specialised in literature aimed at workers and peasants
