Original green cloth, square 8vo., 21x7cm., 56pp., folding table (on the subjunctive). Apart from a crossed-out inscription and date (1938) to f.e.p. in excellent condition. Apparently unused.

Published for the famous Perse School in Cambridge. The phonetic transcription edition 'Première partie' was published some 20 years after this 'Deuxième partie'. The celebrated headmaster, Dr W.H.D. Rouse was a proponent of the Direct Method and the use of phonetics in the teaching of foreign languages.
