A very nice bright copy in original unclipped dust-wrapper. Clean and tight. Very slightly cocked, dust-wrapper age-darkened in parts, fore-edges a little dusty, else excellent copy of this scarce edition in equally very scarce Art Deco decorated dust-wrapper. by the Hungarian Véra Willoughby. Used; Very Good Dust-wrapper by the Hungarian Véra Willoughby. Printed at the Bowering Press Plymouth. Translated into English from the Russian Lubov Jeanne Ney (Liubov Zhanny Nei). Willoughby came to London and studied at the Slade. She designed posters for the Underground Group 1928-1935. Unconventionally, she had an affair with her publisher Peter Davies, despite being some 27 years his elder.
