Flegon/Blond publication of this semi-fictional essay (also known as Round and About) was a landmark in Abramov's career, as it caused him to be virtually barred from publication for five years. It describes the life of workers in a poorly administered collective farm". Cornwall, 74. This appears to be the only example of collaboration between notorious publisher Alec Flegon and Anthony Blond “"the last of the eponymous Jewish publishers whose chutzpah made publishing hum in the days before the conglomerates" (Michael Barber).
