Description
Octavo, 287pp. Original striking Art Deco illustrated boards over original black cloth spine lettered in gilt, decorated endpapers, cheerful brightly coloured graphics throughout by Gilbert Rumbold. 2p. advertisement for Booth’s Gin between half-title verso and title. 2pp. additional cocktails in back before 3 pp. ruled blanks for notes.
No errata slip to p. 25. A good to very good copy with minor signs of age and use. Spine a little creased, spine ends a little bumped, board edges rubbed, very small nick to upper board decoration. Inner joint just a little fragile but not cracked. Generally a very nice copy.
