In good condition, tight and clean through. Faint girls’ school stamp to paste-downs. Small crease to lower board and very light damp stain.
Hilda Elsie Marguerite Patten (1915 – 2015) was best known for her radio and TV cooking programmes and her cookery books in colour. During WWII she broadcast inventive recipes to make the most of rationed food. This book on textiles demonstrating her expertise in all matters domestic features glorious full page plates of 1970s textiles and design.
