In poor-fair condition. Upper cover detached but present, lacking small piece to low corner, backstrip starting, faint number stamp to fore-edges and lower cover, generally a little thumbed. However, internally tight and complete, pages unmarked.
One of some 200 paperback titles published by The Continental Book Company (Bonniers) in Stockholm between 1942 and 1950. The intention, apparently, was to replace the, by then defunct Tauchnitz and Albatros publishing houses with works in English for a continental public. Some titles were colour coded in the manner of Albatross Books before them, and, of course, Penguin.
