Paper a little browned, spine ends pulled slightly, very tight, not marked. Lacks full dust-wrapper. Early Hutchinson’s “Pocket Library” edition. Probably published about 1939. “Miss Jacob was renowned for her collar‐and‐tie appearance and shingled hair.” (NYTimes obit 1964) on Naomi Jacob 1884 - 1964 - suffragette, political activist, actress and prolific author.
