Reprint of April 1914. First published 1913. [viii]+119 pp.. Cloth backed-boards with pictorial onlays. Illustrated lithographically in red and black throughout. Edges rubbed, upper fore-edge and lower board darkened else a good clean copy. Author of “The Maxims of Methuselah”, “Are You a Bromide” and after a trip to Paris, the article “The Wild Men of Paris” on the Cubists. At the time he was considered a humourist. The illustrator Louis D Fancher, as well as a book and magazine illustrator, was knownfor his WWI propaganda posters, and inter-war advertising graphics.
