Description
Usual limp red cloth, lettered gilt, ruled in blind. Decorative bookplate to paste-down, green silk marker, c+579pp, all maps and plans as called for.
Cloth browning (usual with this edition), a good tight copy with just light signs of use and a tiny amount of fraying to spine head. Small tie mark to leading edge, very occasional neat ink annotations - presumably in Mr Horniman’s hand?
Emslie John Horniman’s decorative woodcut “Garden Corner Chelsea” by Robert Anning Bell ex-libris/bookplate to paste-down.
