Description
8vo., later half leather in library buckram, vii[ii]+424pp., folding table. High quality early 19th C. paper in later library binding. Decorative bookplate ex libris ‘VD’ - 1920s- 1930s? to paste-down.
Later sturdy binding, probably cropped, back-strip mainly detached but present. Internally excellent - lovely paper and print. Appears unused and would benefit from sympathetic re-binding.
Scarce first edition.
