Description
Original green wraps printed and illustrated in red, 150pp. Illustrated throughout with b/w in-text illustrations. Upper cover detached but present with small piece torn from spine head, spine chipped, Otherwise internally tight and clean. Important early British example of Esperanto text.

Not dated but with a foreword by the translator dated Keighley, 1907. Joseph Rhodes, a Yorkshire journalist established the first Esperanto society in England in 1902. He also compiled an Esperanto dictionary and translated First Steps in Esperanto into English from the French.
