Small 8vo., original green buckram, William Spurrell's gilt device to upper board, bevelled edges, viii+206pp. Cloth a little faded, contemporary, quite critical, ink annotations (see note) affecting a number of pages. A very good copy. Collectable; Very Good Interesting provenance for those living in Radnorshire (Powys) as he was vicar at Llanfihangel Nantmelan, New Radnor. In 1889, Edgar Arthur William Vaughan Williams edited a Welsh edition of the Book of Common Prayer (Daniel Silvan Evans having published an edition some ten years previously) and was the author of 'Gathered Thoughts: the book of common prayer" amongst other writings.
