Synod

Folio, full calf over wooden boards, rolled design to edges. Spine with raised bands and titles and decorative florets stamped in blind. May lack front free endpaper. First page is title page printed in red and black as are all texts. Decorative head and tail pieces. Texts in Old Church Slavonic. Leather a little scuffed, spine ends and lower joint chipped. Internally very tight and clean. No loss. Clasps removed, lower board cracked from top to bottom with neat later repair. A menaion, one for every month, contains the offices for immovable feasts, according to the liturgical calendar of the Orthodox Church.
