8vo., original mottled-calf boards, gilt device stamped to both. Sympathetically re-backed in stained leather, raised bands, device in blind to compartments, lettered and ruled gilt. Marbled endpapers neatly partially renewed. Engraved portrait frontis., title in red and black, a1-d8+1292[xx]pp, engraved head and tail-pieces. Early owner’s name inside also 1954, A Seligmann’s name. Loosely enclosed note.
Very tight, crisp and clean. A very good copy.
