Nikolai Alekseyevich Ostrovsky [Николай Алексеевич Островский, Микола Олексійович Островський, Mykola Oleksiiovych Ostrovsky]1904 - 1936. Soviet socialist realist writer, whose novel ”How the Steel Was Tempered” is considered one of the most influential works of Communist literature. An invalid fromchildhood, he died at only 32.
