Not dated. Presumed 1922. A good copy. Original decorative card covers stamped in silver. Gilt and blue litho decorations inside to titles. Spine head chipped, very small chip to spine tail. A little sunning around edges. Otherwise a very good copy. Attractively decorated. Limited to 2000 copies.

First published in 1913 and produced in 1921. Often regarded as Blok's greatest play. Mikhail Gnesin (Gnessin),"one of the leading Jewish musical voices to emerge in early twentieth-century Russia" wrote the music for this play.
