Description
Usual red cloth, xxvi+574pp., general map to rear paste-downs, all maps etc.. complete as called for. Early bookseller label neatly to f.e.p. (J.A. Deneu’s, Specialists in Maps and Guides, Beauchamp Place). Contemporary owners’ names in pencil to half-title.
Good plus condition. Spine a little rubbed with bruising top and tail. A couple of maps protruding but very clean and tight. A particulary nice copy.
Includes the vocabulary of Alpine terms. Particularly attractive illustrated piece of ephemera loosely inserted: Carl Adam Salzburg ‘Bekanntes Spezial-Geschäft’. Pencil note on back.
