Small 8vo. (10.5x16 cm.), original decorated glazed paper-covered boards, Nelson advertisements recto and verso to both endpapers, iv+288 pp.. Lacking backstrip, chipped a little at corners, colours age-darkened, a little shaken but generally in unusually good condition. An unusual edition here published by Nelson. Printed in Edinburgh. Nelson lists advertised as “Interesting new works”. ii pp preface by author.
