Original maroon cloth, gilt lettered spine. 147pp.. Cloth a little marked, upper edge dusty, mild foxing to fore-edges. Rude word and its Polish translation in ink to rear page! Used; Very Good Adapted from B. Manassevich's Polish Manual of 1887 in Hartleben's Kunst der Polyglottie series. Freese, the general editor of the London Trübner manuals, was himself the compiler of an English - Russian Dictionary. Owned once by the art historian Eric G Underwood, with his name in ink and dated 1917, also owned by (runner?) Martin Daykin, dated 1993.
