In good condition, internally clean but very slightly shaken. Minor damp spotting to spine edges and fore-edges. Dust-wrapper softened with a few closed tears and minor marking.
English translation of the first three volumes of Sholokhov’s celebrated vivid novel on the life of the Don Cossacks before and during WWI, Revolution and Civil War. Often considered one of the most significant works of the 20th century and has from publication remained immensely popular.
