Original red cloth lettered in black. viii+160+30pp., not dated but publisher's lists for 1935. A very nice bright copy. Appears unused. Used; Very Good Attractively bound in red cloth. Later issues are to be found in light blue wrappers. An interesting, popular series appearing long before 'Teach Yourself'. Based on the 'Natural' or 'Direct' Method (c.f. Trübner, Hartleben, Gaspey-Otto-Sauer) but using Marlborough's own system of phonetics.
