11th edition first published in 1785. Nicholas Wanostrocht (1745-1812) educator, great uncle of the celebrated cricketer Nicholas Felix, published a number of children’s instructional works and was founder of the progressive Alfred House Academy.This edition of the present volume was revised by the first Nicholas’ nephew Vincent, father of the cricketer.
