He wrote approximately 120 books under the pseudonyms George Sava, George Bankoff, George Borodin, George Braddon, Peter Conway, Alec Redwood, and others. He was a Lieutenant in the White Russian Navy and later pursued a career as a surgeon. His books range in subject matter from his life as a surgeon, to Mihailovic and the Chetniks and the story of Rasputin.
